Just Motorsport is the leading name in motorsport insurance.

It was set up by a team of motorsport and insurance professionals in 2008 to provide ‘insurance for the sport, by the sport’. We are completely dedicated to serving this complex sector, with the unique challenges that it represents.

We specialise in property and liability insurance for everything from competition to recreational motorsports.

We are involved in all levels of the sport – covering everything from governing bodies and high-level competitions to recreational motorsports such as lawnmower racing.

Just Motorsport forms part of the DTW Syndicate at Lloyd’s (DTW 1991), through its associated service company.

It was launched in January 2013 with £77m of capacity supported by a mixture of corporate and private investors. Capacity is £127m for the 2019 year of account. The syndicate benefits from Lloyd’s A.M. Best rating of A, and a Standard & Poor’s rating of A+. The Lloyd’s unique Chain of Security provides excellent financial security to policyholders.


We take an active role in the claims process and are committed to helping resolve claims as efficiently as possible.

This includes proactively investigating any incidents promptly. If incidents are investigated at an early stage, we are then in a strong position to respond quickly to any claims we receive – with all necessary evidence to hand.

To help us provide a fast, responsive service, we have also appointed industry specialist Knowles Loss Adjusters to be on standby at all times to investigate any incidents.
